My name is Shai (pronounced Shy) — but I’m anything but.

I’m a Director, Cinematographer, and Editor specializing in storytelling surrounding the human spirit and community. My work has been recognized by the Emmys, Webby Awards, and film festivals internationally. Most recently, ‘Remaining Native, ’ a documentary feature I served as Cinematographer on, premiered at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award and a Special Jury Award.

My goal is to continue to make genuine and engaging stories while fostering a safe, efficient, and creative environment.
